Are you or someone you know having trouble dreaming? Has life come to a stop?
Feeling powerless? Dealing with anxiety? Difficulty concentrating?
When we work with people that are having difficulty dreaming, a lot of the times it’s due to them experiencing a traumatic event. Sometimes they are conscious of it, sometimes they are not.
But, the fact is…. there IS something that is keeping you from dreaming and/or moving forward.
Per the American Psychological Association, approximately one half of all individuals will be exposed to at least one traumatic event in their lifetime. You can click on the following link for more information : https://www.apa.org/advocacy/interpersonal-violence/women-trauma.
When it comes to trauma, no one can decide what makes a traumatic event a traumatic event… meaning, you may have experienced a trauma that seems “small” in comparison to what you may know others have experienced, but it doesn’t mean that your trauma isn’t any less painful or paralyzing.
What I am here to tell you is that, you do not have to stay there. You can move forward and live the life you were created for. We literally, can we re-wire our brains to create a new life story.
One way of doing this is by visualization. Picture, what your life would look like without the trauma? What would you be seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and feeling?
We have practical tools for you to move beyond the past into the present.
